Great planting is about the right plant in the right place — the bit that garden centres can't tell you. We design beds and containers around your soil, light and aspect, plant them properly, and show you (or do it for you) how to keep them looking their best.

Ashcombe's soil is heavy clay in places and free-draining chalk in others — it makes a real difference to what thrives. We'll walk the garden with you and be honest about what will work (and what will be a constant battle).

Do you come back after planting?
We can. Many customers add planting to a maintenance plan so we plant, then keep it fed, pruned and replaced seasonally.
